A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 13 September at the Cypriot Centre.
Our Chair Dr Peter Christian and Chief Operating Officer Tony Hoolaghan opened the event with an overview of our performance and key achievements over the last year, which included reducing the waiting times for musculoskeletal services, following the launch of a four month pilot delivered by the Wellbeing Partnership and improving asthma care for children and young people. Chief Finance Officer Simon Goodwin also provided an overview of the CCG's accounts and how our budget was spent in 2017-18.
Sharon Seber, local Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Governing Body member, then provided an update on the extensive and innovative work underway to transform diabetes services in Haringey, as well as support Haringey Council with their prevention initiatives.
You can download our AGM presentation here. You can also read our 2017/18 annual report and accounts for more detailed information about the work we have done in the last year, the money we have spent and our future plans.
The presentations were followed by a question and answer session. Questions covered a range of topics including access to primary care, North Central London Sustainability and Transformation plan and the St Ann’s site redevelopment. Answers were given by the CCG’s Governing Body members on the discussion tables.
Haringey CCG is always keen to engage with residents, listen to their views about local health services, find out what is working well and what we can improve.
We will be holding two public meetings on Thursday 11 October where residents will get an opportunity to further discuss some of the local health services that they have told us are integral to the community, including primary care, urgent care services and mental health care. Find out more about these public meetings here.
