With a population of just over 267,000, Haringey is the fifth most ethnically diverse in the country. Almost two-thirds of our population, and over 70% of our young people, are from ethnic minority backgrounds, and over 100 languages are spoken in the borough.

Life expectancy is rising generally, in line with national trends, however health inequalities between men and women, and people living in the West and East of the borough remain stark.
