Emotional support during pregnancy

Pregnant women and new parents in Haringey can access talking therapy if they are experiencing emotional difficulties and require support. Let's Talk - Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) service offers a range of free, confidential talking therapies to Haringey residents (aged 16+) who have symptoms of anxiety or depression.

Unhappy to be pregnant or unsure?

People who live in Haringey have a choice of three organisations who can give free and confidential abortion advice and treatment.

The organisations are:

  • British Pregnancy Advice Service (BPAS) - www.bpas.org
    The nearest consultation centres are at Stroud Green Clinic, 12-14 Upper Tollington Park, N4 3EL and Lordship Lane Health Centre, 239 Lordship Lane, N17 6AA 
  • Marie Stopes (MSI) - www.mariestopes.org.uk
    The nearest consultation centre is in central London at 108 Whitfield Street, London, W1T 5BE
  • Pregnancy Advice Service (PAS - also known as Fraterdrive) - www.smpclinic.co.uk
    The nearest consultation clinic is at Finchley Memorial Hospital, Granville Road, N12 0JE
